The night flew by with Felicity's lesson to GIR on Beethoven. The sun was coming up, but Cherry was still buried in her bed. She let out some weak snores, then heard her daughter's voice ring in her ears while she tried to sleep.

"Maman," Felicity called. "Maman!"

"Huh? Yeah?" Cherry sat up in her bed and rubbed one of her eyes with her hand, tiredly.

"Look." Felicity said, then took out her record player. GIR sat beside her as Felicity put the needle on the record and put one of GIR's claws against the record. Felicity signaled her mother to wait a minute, then opened GIR's mouth as it played Beethoven's 5th. Felicity opened and closed GIR's mouth a few times much to the disturbance and curiosity of her mother.

There was a loud banging at the door. Felicity stopped the record playing as Cherry dashed to the door. She let out a gasp of fear as she opened it to see Mr. White standing there, looking intimidating as always.

"Heard you lost your job." Mr. White stated without a hint of emotion in his voice.

"Well, actually, I just quit that job," Cherry tried to cover up. "Because, you know, the hours are just not conducive to the challenges of raising a child-"

GIR walked by with the Ugly Duckling book. He growled at Mr. White, seeing him as a threat and chucked the book at his face, knocking off his sunglasses.

"HEY!" Mr. White glared at the creature.

"I am so sorry about that!" Cherry picked up GIR nervously in shock.

"What is that thing?" Mr. White demanded.

"That's my puppy!" Felicity chirped.

"Really?" Mr. White glanced at her. He then looked back at Cherry, then down at GIR and Felicity. "Thus far, you have been adrift in the sheltered harbor of my patience but I cannot ignore you being jobless. Do I make myself clear?"

"Perfectly." Cherry nodded.

"And next time I see this dog I expect him to be a model citizen," Mr. White demanded to Felicity. "Capisce?"

"Uh... Oui?" Felicity was slightly confused at that last word.

"New job," Mr. White pointed to the mother, then down at the daughter. "Model citizen," he placed his sunglasses back on, but one part of the glass chipped off and smashed on the floor. "Good day..." he walked off.

That day, Cherry, Felicity and GIR spent their day in town searching for a job and raising GIR to be a good dog. They first stopped by the fruit stands with a green dress wearing mushroom pixie with big, round glasses with big green eyes, a purple mushroom hat with orange spots, and she was very, very tiny. Her name was Truffles and she was married to top chef, Mung Daal. She was now hosing down some fruits while Cherry walked beside her.

"Mrs. Daal?" Cherry drawled with a piece of paper. "I'm here to answer your newspaper ad."

"Ludwig von Beethoven was a model citizen," Felicity demonstrated to GIR with a notebook. "I've compiled a list of his traits for you to practice. Number one is great poise."

"I can't talk now, dear," Truffles told Cherry. "I'm waiting for someone to answer my ad."

"That's why I'm here!" Cherry told her, a little louder.

"Hands on your hips," Felicity told GIR as she did as she taught. "Now just follow my lead." Felicity bowed like a great composer after completing an orchestra.

GIR did the same and was very intrigued.

"Ah, that's my want ad!" Truffles pointed out the paper Cherry had.

"I know!" Cherry said, slightly annoyed.

Felicity and GIR kept practicing, but it got a little out of hand. GIR suddenly spun around in a circle with Truffles by accident and they collapsed back into some fruit. Truffles had a watermelon over her head with GIR poking his head out and Cherry shuddered at the downfall.

"Why is everything so dark?!" Truffles screamed in alarm.

The next stop is the coffee shop. Cherry was talking with a humanoid bright red cardinal bird named Margaret about getting the job.

"I'm all about coffee..." Cherry tried to convince the bird girl.

"Let's move on to step 2," Felicity told GIR as he sat in a chair across from her. Felicity then dug into her backpack and took out a tiny toy piano and pushed it in front of GIR and he jumped down to play it. "Beethoven played piano. Here. Hold it like this, put your fingers here," Felicity let her fingers dance on the ivory keyboard to make a tune. "See? Now, you try."

GIR nodded and did the same and it sounded pretty good. He then started playing reminiscent of another Beethoven obsessed child by the name of Shroeder. He played very loud which caught the attention of Margaret and Cherry later on.

"I wish I could, Cherry, but I just hired Mordecai," Margaret tried to explain. "And with tourist season ending-" Margaret noticed the loud piano playing.

GIR played very well, but he over did it. It made the glass windows in the coffee shop break and Margaret's serving coffee pitcher. Felicity facepalmed in embarrassment, GIR looked pleased with himself and Mr. White threw down his newspaper as he was watching them in a little table.

After that, Cherry went to the hotel to get a job. She was talking with the main manager, Mr. Hector (Home Alone 2) while he was behind his desk. He had his papers together while Cherry tried to apply for the job.

"Conceierg-er-ing is my life..." Cherry rolled her finger in her hair, looking him in the eye. "I just love to answer phones-"

"This is the face of romance," Felicity told GIR as she looked at a younger picture of Beethoven and GIR wore a 1700s collared shirt with a black, icy rose in his hand as they went to a couch which Suga Mama was sleeping on, as usual. "She looks like she could use some lovin'." Felicity whispered to GIR as they observed the old woman.

GIR then got on the couch and grabbed Suga Mama's hand. Suddenly with that, she woke up in alarm.

"Oh, we might have something..." Mr. Hector looked through his files to see if he had a job opening for Cherry.

"Good," Felicity gave GIR a thumbs up. "Now, kiss her."

GIR kissed Suga Mama on the cheek, and she screamed. Cherry and Mr. Hector looked back in fear. Cherry then ran out of the hotel, dragging Felicity off the floor and pulling her to get far away from the hotel as possible. GIR was running behind.

"I'm sure Ludwig had his bad days too." Felicity tried to assure him.

The final stop for the day. Cherry was at the beach and she was talking to a squirrel girl with a pink flower behind her ear and she wore a lifeguard uniform. Her name was Sandy. This was Cherry's last hope, could she do it?

"I'm all about saving people?" Cherry sounded very, very unsure due to the past experiences.

Sandy thought for a moment, then smiled. "Actually, I do think we have an opening." That made Cherry's day.

"Really?" Cherry's eyes lit up.

"Okay, this is it." Felicity told GIR as he was now in a professional court composer's tail coat like what her father used to wear. GIR even wore a powdered wig and had his toy piano ready as the people on the beach went about their business. "Time to bring it all together..."

"Oh, that'd be so great!" Cherry jumped up with relief. "You have no idea how badly I need this job!"

GIR walked to the center of the beach. Some people looked at him in wonder. Felicity then got on top of a stereo about to plug it in so everyone in the beach could hear GIR. "It's all you! Knock 'em dead!" Felicity plugged the stereo to get GIR started.

GIR looked nervous, then played his piano as he was trianed. Suddenly, everyone was looking at him. From children to adults. Felicity danced with the beat, it was pretty good for classical music. Kim Possible rushed over, to get a picture of GIR, but once he smirked at her like a bad boy, it made her faint and scream like a fan girl. Suddenly, everyone came to GIR with a camera, flashing at him. Even Maggie Simpson had her camera. GIR covered his eyes and stopped playing, he felt very uncomfortable with all the attention and camera. Felicity rushed over to get them to stop.

"Don't crowd him!" Felicity warned them, but they wouldn't listen.

GIR reacted strangely, then ripped off his clothes and growled at the crowd. He grabbed Wanda McPherson's camera and tried to eat it, making Wanda run away and scream.

"Hey! Knock that off!" Tim Botsford yelled at GIR and squirted him with his water gun.

GIR glared at him, grabbed him and threw him all the way across the beach. The people remaining on the beach screamed and ran away. One of the people even ran into Homer Simpson, and made his ice cream fall on the ground, once again. The force of everyone fleeing the beach made the lifeguard stand sway and it thrashed right on the ground and breaking it. Sandy looked alarmed and saw Felicity wave shyly, then walk to GIR. Sandy then glared at Cherry and stormed off with the others, abandoning the job idea. GIR felt bad once he saw Felicity slowly walk away with her picture of Beethoven and Cherry looked at her want ad paper. They both then threw their papers to the distance and slumped, looking like bumps on a log.

Yukio then walked over in his swimshorts and had surfboards in both hands, unaware of their sadness. "Hey, Felicity!" he chimed, then looked down to see Cherry. "Howzit,....Cherry?"

"We're having a bad day." Felicity looked up somberly at him.

"Hmm..." Yukio hummed, then got on his knees with a smile to perk the girls up. "Hey, I might not be a doctor, but I know that there's no better cure for a sour face than a couple of boards and some choice waves. What do you think?"

Cherry smiled, then looked at Felicity as a smile slowly formed on her own face. "I think that's a great idea." she said, softly.

And with that, Cherry and Felicity had on their swimsuits and rode on a surfboard with GIR and Yukio. GIR stared at the water, put his hand in and cringed. It seemed to have some weakening affect on him, but the group kept surfing to cheer themselves up. Yukio floated by on his board and ruffled up GIR's head as they continued to go for the waves. Yukio took Felicity and let her ride a big wave with him and they made it, with some flips and tricks. This impressed GIR.

GIR laughed and clapped excitedly. He pointed to show Cherry, and she stared at him from his behavior. GIR then went to a typical dog mode and sat as Cherry felt disturbed by his over excitement. Yukio then made funny faces at Felicity, but then Cherry kicked him off the board, making Felicity laugh.

As the board floated by, Felicity stuck her head in the water and smiled at the several fish. Cherry got on her surfboard and stood steadily on her board to impress everyone. Cherry then took on another wave with Felicity cheering, laughing and forgetting her troubles. GIR stared inside the water as the mother and daughter swam under together and jumped up. Yukio laughed with them, held Felicity tight and tickled her stomach to make her laugh.

Later, everyone was now on the sand, taking a break. GIR stared at them from a distance as they built a sandcastle without them. GIR tried to do the same and noticed they were burying Felicity under it. GIR piled a huge lump of sand over him and put on a leaf as his flag. He cheered for himself, but no one was paying attention to him. He then buried his face in his sand pile out of depression. Moments later, he came up from behind Felicity as she placed a star fish on a tiny sand model she made. She felt GIR kick his head at her and he turned to see he was dragging a surfboard with him, like to invite her to surf with him. Felicity smiled in agreement.

Unbeknownst to them, they were being watched by Zim and Megamind. Zim was creeping on a palm tree with his binoculars as Megamind was on his pocket contactor, talking about the adventure he's had to endure.

"Oh, can't complain, Minion," Megamind replied. "I'm camping out with a convicted criminal. And, oh! I head my chewed on by a MONSTER!"

"Wait..." Zim ignored his yelling and watched GIR get close to the water with Cherry and Felicity. "Something is not right... The SIR unit is returning willingly to water!"

"Oh, hold on, Minion," Megamind disregarded him. "Another call." he pressed a button, then reacted with panic as he saw Prymaat on the other end.

"Mr. Megamind, you are overdue," Prymaat scolded him. "I want a status report!"

"Oh, uh, things are going well." Megamind responded nervously.

"He cannot swim!" Zim growled.

"Things are going well... Zim, aren't they going well?"

"Why will he risk drowning!?"

"Zim? ZIM!" Megamind then went to a hushed tone. "Help me out here..."

"I would have expected you back by now with the SIR unit at hand." Prymaat demanded to the alien men.

"Just a few things left to pack... Then we'll be-"

"Hang up," Zim turned off the contactor as he jumped off the palm tree. "We're going swimming!"

"Huh?" Megamind wondered, then screamed as the tree flung him back against the bushes.

GIR sat steadily as the board was swiftly going across the ocean water with Cherry paddling. He felt a little calmer than he was earlier and was happy to be with Felicity. GIR enjoyed himself until the wave grew and they went zooming down. GIR gasped and grabbed onto Cherry's leg as they plummeted down. Cherry rolled her eyes and continued to stand as they were conquering the wave. They all smiled, but then something grabbed GIR and dragged him down, making Cherry and Felicity fall and splash into the water. Yukio watched, sitting, hugging his knees. He then grew concerned as he watched them fall as the sun was setting.

"Flick!" Cherry cried as she got up in the surface.

"What happened?" Felicity wondered.

"Oh, some jerk must've stuffed us in a barrel."

"Where's GIR?"

GIR came up in a panic and grabbed onto Felicity for support. He then pulled her down, which angered and worried Cherry. "GET OFF OF HER!" she snarled.

"What happened?" Yukio rushed over.

"GIR dragged her down!" Cherry replied.

Yukio took a deep breath and swam down. He saw Felicity and grabbed her to safety, accidentally kicking GIR down. While down, Zim and Megamind tried to capture and handcuff him. GIR then bit on Megamind's oxygen tank and sent the evil aliens sky rocketing in the air. Yukio then came back for GIR as he was nearly drowning. Cherry was on land, pulling and putting Felicity on dry land, with a heavy pant.

"We lost GIR!" Felicity cried as they were safe.

"Flick? Flick, look at me, enfant. Are you hurt?" Cherry asked.

"No." Felicity abruptly replied.

Yukio quickly came over with GIR. "He's unconscious, but I think he's alive."

GIR was placed on the sand. Soon enough he gagged and coughed up water, then he reacted with a killer instinct. Cherry held Felicity close and looked over to see Mr. White spying on them again. Cherry then handed her daughter to Yukio.

"Yukio, take Flick." Cherry told him, then went over to Mr. White who had a scolding look on his face with his arms crossed. "This isn't what it looks like. We were.... It-It's just that..."

"I know you're trying, Cherry," Mr. White cut her off. "But you need to think about what's best for Felicity, even if it means removing you from the picture."

Cherry looked at him with horror.

"I'll be back tomorrow morning for Felicity," Mr. White walked off. "I'm sorry."

GIR glanced at Cherry as Mr. White left. He tilted his head in concern for her since she looked unhappy. He couldn't understand what they might have been talking about, but he knew Cherry was upset.

"Cherry?" Yukio walked over with Felicity in his arms. "Is there something I can do?"

Cherry turned to him with somber in her eyes. "No, Yukio," she gently took Felicity away from him. "I need to take Flick home now." she looked down at her daughter. "We have a lot to talk about, Felicity." she walked off back home.

GIR walked over as Yukio hung his head. Yukio looked down at the cyborg in disguise. "You know, I really believed they had a chance. Then you came along."

That stung inside GIR and he looked up, feeling just as weary as ever. Yukio heaved a sharp sigh and made his way for his own home. GIR felt like this was all his fault. Felicity was being taken away, GIR caused a lot of mayhem with the family, they would be better off without him, he was sure of it.

That night, GIR climbed up steps to the backyard of Felicity and Cherry's house. On his way, GIR passed Della Duck pass by on the steps. She glanced at GIR before he went further and she did the same. She then let out a loud quack, and waddled off with her triplets, Huey, Dewey and Louie. GIR watched them leave, and looked up at Cherry and Felicity as they were in a hammock together with flowers in their hair.

"Flick, honey," Cherry was stumbling through her words of what to tell her daughter about today. "We have to uhh..."

"Don't worry," Felicity looked into her eyes without a hint of emotion in her voice. "You're nice, and someone will give you a job.... I would."

"Come here." Cherry held out her arms.

Felicity crawled over to Cherry and sprawled in her mother's arms. Cherry held her close as she sang a French lullaby as they slowly and swiftly swung together. GIR watched them and felt very guilty. The girls then let their flowers blow in the wind.

Everyone then went inside for a good night sleep. GIR removed the pillow and saw the picture Felicity tried to hide from him. There were Felicity and Cherry together, with two older men. One of them had dark brown hair, a blue jacket, white shirt underneath, gray pants and dark gray shoes. The other one had very ivory skin and silver hair with a black music tail coat with gray shorts, white tights and black buckled shoes. They were Thomas, Felicity's brother and Cherry's son, and Charles, Felicity's father and Cherry's husband.

"That's us before," Felicity explained. "It was rainy, and they went for a drive... What happened to yours?"

GIR didn't answer, but he grabbed his chest. "Aww..." he mumbled, thinking about Felicity's situation.

"I hear you cry at night," Felicity spoke up again. "Do you dream about them? I know that's why you wreck things and push me. Our family's little now, and we don't have many toys, but if you want, you could be a part of it. You could be our baby and we'd raise you to be good. Famille means family, family means nobody gets left behind. But if you want to leave, you can... I'll remember you, though. I remember everyone that leaves." Felicity tucked herself into her bed after GIR got in the bed with his Ugly Duckling book.

GIR then felt like he should probably leave. He grabbed the book and went out the open window. He waved goodbye to Felicity and she did the same. He then climbed out the window. Before he officially left, he looked back out for a moment to see Felicity sleeping soundly. GIR walked off to the backyard and wasn't quite sure where to go, but he wanted to make Felicity happy, so he wanted to run away. He then opened the book to where Abby cries that she's lost.

"L... L... Lost... I'm lost..." GIR pronounced and felt very sad now.
