Literature Text

Marty and Naomi went to a hidden location. They had the book for real this time.

"Doc! Success! We got it!" Marty cheered.

"Great, guys!" Dr. Brown cheered. "As soon as I reload the fusion generator, I'll meet you on the roof of the high school gym."

"On the roof, 10-4." Marty said as Naomi saluted, ready to go home.

After Marty put away his walkie-talkie, Biff's gang ganged up on them.

"Hey, it's them!" one of them said.

"They're in disguise!" another added.

"Guys," Marty walked over, plainly, then pointed. "What's that?"

The gang looked away, then Marty and Naomi pushed the gang, then ran into the gym to avoid trouble. The music went slow with Marty's other self playing the guitar bits to Earth Angel as Naomi's other self sat alone. Marty and Naomi panicked as George and Lorraine shared their first kiss, the gang was coming for them. Marty and Naomi then ducked down under the table.

"Where'd they go? They just came in here!"

"Look, how'd he get up on stage?"

"What's she doing here?"

"How the Hell did they change their clothes so fast?"

"I don't know, but when we get them, we're gonna nail them!"

Marty and Naomi then ran backstage.

"What do we do?" Naomi wondered.

Marty then took out his walkie-talkie. "Doc, come in!"

"Marty, come in." Dr. Brown replied.

"Listen, Biff's guys chased us into the gym and now they're gonna jump! Us!"

"Then get out of there!" Dr. Brown said simply like Marty said a stupid sentence.

"No, Emmett, not us, the other us!" Naomi explained. "The Marty playing on stage playing Johnny B. Goode and me going stag to the dance!"

"Great Scott!" Dr. Brown exclaimed. "Your other selves will miss the lightning bolt to the clock tower, you won't get back to the future, and we'll have a major paradox!"

"Wait, wait, wait," Marty spoke up. "A paradox? You mean one of those things that could destroy the universe?"

"Precisely," Dr. Brown confirmed. "Marty, Naomi, you have to stop those guys at all costs, but without being seen by your other selves or Marty's parents!"

"10-4." Marty weakly replied, then put away the walkie-talkie.

"Man, this is gonna be messy." Naomi moaned.

Marty and Naomi then acted quick. They went backstage as Marty did the guitar solo to Johnny B. Goode. The gang was waiting Marty to finish the song. Marty and Naomi quickly went to them and Marty climbed a ladder, pulled a rope, and pummeled the gang with a bunch of sand bags. Marty slid down the rope and Naomi rushed to reunite with them. The gang was about to get up once the sandbags were off from them. Marty made the bags fall back down and he quickly followed Naomi outside the school.

"Doc, success, everything's cool." Marty concluded.

"Great," Dr. Brown sounded relieved. "I'll be landing at the school roof in about one minute."

"We'll be there." Marty said as he walked with Naomi.

The two teens were happy to see the plans working out just fine.

"Hey buttheads." a voice called to them.

The teens turned in disgust and anger to see Biff with a broken, bloody nose facing them.

"You think those stupid disguises would get by me?" Biff scoffed. "Let's have it out. You and me, right now."

"No thanks." Marty replied, smartly, then went to leave.

"What's the matter?" Biff mocked as they were almost out. "Where are you going? Are you CHICKEN!?"

Marty froze, then knew he was beat with his weakness.

"Marty, just walk away." Naomi coaxed like a mother.

"That's it, isn't it?" Biff mocked. "Nothing but a little chicken."

Marty turned, fiercely. He then threw off his hat, then stormed to the bully. "Nobody, calls me, chick-" Marty was then knocked out as the door opened suddenly, making Marty fall on the ground and open his jacket and expose the almanac.

"What the Hell?" Biff bent and swiped the almanac back before Naomi could take it. "You two steal my stuff?" Biff growled, slapped Naomi across the face, making her fall on her knees and he kicked Marty hard in the stomach. "And this one's for my car!" Biff kicked Marty again and stormed off.

Naomi rubbed her cheek, glaring at the menace.

"Doc!" Marty cried as he got on the roof with Naomi. "We blew it, Biff nailed me, he took the book and drove away with it in his car."

"It's our fault," Naomi hugged her long-lost brother. "We should've gotten out of there sooner."

"No time for that," Dr. Brown patted her back, then went to Marty. "Which way did he go?"

"East towards the River Road Tunnel." Marty replied.

"Get in!" Dr. Brown told them as they were about to have an old-fashioned car chase.
